Opeeka’s mission is to keep the person in the center of care, which helps assist with equity and have an impact of the Social Determinants of Health. An important pillar of our work is to increase collaborations among systems. He holds a doctoral degree from Columbia University in anthropology and psychology. In addition, he has been the recipient of national fellowships in the social sciences at the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania.
